Pricing

Flat fees. No hourly billing, at any tier.

Every price below is agreed before work starts. You will never receive an invoice you did not see coming, and you will never be charged for asking a question.

Prices are in EUR and exclusive of VAT. For EU businesses with a valid VAT number the reverse-charge mechanism applies; for businesses outside the EU no VAT is charged. Most legal providers in Europe do not publish prices at all — if you find a published lower flat fee for the same scope, tell us and we will say so here.

The desk tiers

Tiers scale with volume, not with features.

We do not hold back the good service for the expensive plan. A company doing eight contracts a month pays less than one doing forty, and both get the same senior lawyer, the same turnaround and the same negotiation support.

The fine print, stated plainly

What a desk does not cover.

Every flat fee has an edge. Here is ours, in advance rather than in an invoice.

Why flat

Hourly billing makes every question a purchase decision, and the predictable result is that people stop asking. The contracts that most need a second look get the least attention, because nobody wants to see the invoice. A flat fee inverts that: the more you send, the better we understand your business and the faster the work gets.

It also means our incentive is to close your deal quickly, not to spend time on it.

01

Litigation and disputes

If a contract goes wrong and ends up in front of a court or arbitrator, that is a separate engagement with separate pricing. We will tell you the moment it looks like heading there.

02

Financings and M&A

Priced as a project. Icon.Partners does this work; the desk does not.

03

Regulatory licensing

MiCA, EMI, PI, gaming: available through Icon.Partners across 40+ jurisdictions, quoted separately. When you are ready, it is the same team.

04

Extraordinary volume

“Unlimited routine” means the normal commercial flow of a company your size. If your volume triples, we will talk about the tier before we start declining work — and you will hear it from us in an email before you see it in an invoice.

05

Work outside commercial contracts

Employment disputes, litigation, regulatory filings and corporate transactions are Icon.Partners work priced as projects, not desk work. We will tell you which is which before you spend a euro.

06

Third-party costs

Filing fees, notaries, apostilles, translations: passed through at cost, with the invoice attached.

Questions

What people ask about the price.

Why is the price “from”?

Because the desk tier depends on your volume, and we would rather tell you the exact number after a twenty-minute call than publish one that is wrong for you. Per-document prices are exact and depend only on page count. Whatever we quote, it is in writing before we start and it does not change during the engagement.

What is S, M and L?

Page count of the document you send: S up to 15 pages, M 16–30, L over 30. Exhibits count. We tell you the tier when we confirm receipt, before any work.

Do you charge for the twenty-minute call?

No. And there is no obligation afterwards. Bring the contract that is on your desk right now.

What if the negotiation takes longer than 60 days?

If the other side is still engaged, we keep going — we are not going to abandon a deal at day 61. If the deal is dead, we say so. We have never charged an extension on a live negotiation.

Can we start per-document and move to a desk?

Yes, most clients do. When you move within 30 days, the per-document fee already paid is credited against the first month.

Is there a minimum term?

No. Desks are monthly with 30 days’ notice. Per-document work has no term at all.

Next step

Not sure which tier fits?

Bring one live contract and your rough monthly volume to a twenty-minute call. We will tell you which tier makes sense — including when the answer is that you do not need a desk yet and should pay per document.
